🎭 Summer of the Seventeenth Doll
Grab the gang and head out for a night at the theatre! The Hobart Repertory Theatre Society are staging Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, at the Playhouse Theatre from 16 – 26 of October. This landmark performance marks the first time the iconic play has been staged since the death of its esteemed playwright, Ray Lawler, and promises to bring to life one of Australia’s most important and enduring works.

🎶 Annie
Everyone’s favourite red-headed orphan takes to the stage in a heartwarming performance – perfect for the whole family! JOHN X PRESENTS has brought Annie back to the Theatre Royal for the first time in 20 years, and features some of Hobart’s brightest up-and-coming musical theatre performers. Get ready for a heart-warming journey, with toe-tapping tunes that you will be singing all the way home…
🎤 The Whitlams
Celebrating 25 years of their iconic “Love This City” album, The Whitlams will perform at the Odeon Theatre TONIGHT (October 18) at 7:30 pm, promising a night of nostalgia and great music.

🎨 Salamanca Arts Centre
There’s always a bunch of amazing things happening at the iconic Salamanca Arts Centre. You can see Hannah Blackmore’s exhibition “Off the Studio Wall” in the Studio Gallery, Clifford How’s exhibition “Luminous State” in the Long Gallery, or catch Disney’s High School Musical, performed by the Musical Theatre Crew at the Peacock Theatre!

🎸 RocKwiz LIVE!
Everyone’s favourite music quiz show is hitting Hobart! Join Julia Zemiro, Brian Nankervis, and the RocKwiz OrKestra at the Odeon Theatre on Sunday 20 October for a night filled with music, trivia, and plenty of laughs. Every show begins with Brian’s contestant selection process, with audience members demonstrating their rock knowledge. Contestants with the highest scores sit alongside guest musicians for a magical night of music and trivia! The first show sold out super-fast, so hop to it (tickets via the Odeon website)!
