This beloved dish, served at the Lower Deck Bistro, is more than just a bowl of soup. It’s a piece of Hobart’s culinary history, inspired by an original family recipe from founder Jill Mure, who first whipped it up over 30+ years ago as a clever way to use up damaged smoked fish fillets, a delicious nod to Mures’ zero-waste ethos. ♻️

Packed with house-smoked Tasmanian Silver Warehou and a mix of seasonal seafood, it’s a hearty, honest bowl of comfort that’s perfect for lunch or dinner.
