Hartz Peak Day Hike (Ex Hobart)

Join us for a refreshing alpine reset during Dark Mofo with a guided day hike to Hartz Peak.

This 7 km return walk takes us through classic Tasmanian alpine scenery to wide-open views, crisp mountain air, and one very special stop at Ladies Tarn. For those who are keen, there’ll be the option of a nude swim, the perfect way to wash off the sins of Dark Mofo and start fresh (totally optional).

We’ll soak up the Huon Valley scenery on the drive down before heading into the mountains. On the trail, we’ll enjoy a delicious sandwich from one of our favourite local bakeries and a cheeky glass of our favourite Tasmanian wine.

All you need to do is show up ready for a great day outside, celebrating winter in the best way possible: outdoors, laughing, and a little bit brave.

What’s included:
• Guided 7 km hike to Hartz Peak
• Transport to and from Hobart (Scenic Drive through the Huon Valley)
• Lunch from a Huon Valley bakery
• A cheeky glass of Tasmanian wine on the trail
• Experienced female guides

All you need is a moderate level of fitness, a warm jacket, trail shoes, and a tiny spark of adventure.

Who is this for?
• Women (18+) keen to escape Hobart for the day during Dark Mofo and get into the Mountains
• Curious about Solo Season and keen for a low-commitment, high-vibe way to see what we’re about
• Happy to walk 7 km with a few “spicy but doable” uphill moments and be outside for a few hours in crisp Tassie winter air
• The kind of woman who says yes to good chats, belly laughs, and maybe a brave moment at Ladies Tarn
