Jean‑Pascal Patisserie is led by Jean Pascal Lepretre, a fifth‑generation French pastry chef from Bolbec in Normandy. Raised in his family’s renowned patisserie, he developed his craft from a young age before continuing his training in Paris, where he worked with celebrated chefs, including the famed Roux Brothers.

After gaining international experience across France, Denmark, Monaco, the United States, and on luxury cruise ships, Jean Pascal eventually discovered Tasmania and fell in love with Hobart. His reputation for exceptional pastries, cakes, and chocolates quickly grew.

Today, he operates two locations in New Town: Jean‑Pascal Patisserie, a café offering breakfast, lunch, and signature pastries, and La Boutique, a retail and takeaway store. All products, along with an expanding wholesale range, are handcrafted on site by Jean Pascal and his dedicated team.
