The 2027 National and Interstate Pool Rescue Championships will be held at the Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre, Tasmania, on 6-8 August, 2027.
The Australian Pool Rescue Championships take is held at aquatic centres around the country to test Australia's most skilled swimmers and showcase various pool lifesaving skills.
Competitors race against each other and the stopwatch in events designed to simulate saving a swimmer's life. Events include athletes diving to the bottom of an Olympic sized pool and dragging a heavy, human-weighted manikin to the finish line.
