Join them for a deeply moving fireside feast by Season and Fire. Nestled within the impactful surrounds of the former Willow Court mental asylum, this special experience invites you to gather around open flames. Season and Fire have crafted a menu honouring the valley's dedicated growers, makers, and rugged landscape — to deliver a bold, seasonal feast with a respectful nod to the 19th century.
This is more than just food — it's an experience that touches the heart: cooked over fire, and created for meaningful connections. You'll be welcomed with a drink, followed by beautiful canapés and truly delicious shared dishes. Picture long tables glowing in the firelight and a historic setting that embraces the beauty of winter.
You will be the honoured guests of its passionate owners and you'll also have the opportunity to meet artist Dominic Romeo, who will personally guide you through his latest black and white exhibition, La Terra Sacra.
The evening will continue with a glowing bonfire in the front garden of the Ladies Cottage, open to the public — and you are warmly invited to stay and linger under the stars.
As it is winter in Tasmania, they hope to host you in the atmospheric courtyard between the Ladies Cottage and Nurses Quarters.
However, should the Tassie weather not cooperate, they will bring the evening inside.
