Friends of Wellington Park are an intrepid bunch who usually combine a bushwalk with a weeding expedition.
They work all over kunanyi / Mt Wellington, targeting small weed outbreaks before they can impact the mountain environment.
They maintain and enhance the native plants and animals that call the mountain home and help show others how important it is to protect the very special natural values of kunanyi / Mt Wellington.
