It's fast, it's furious…but most of all it's fun.

The Tasmanian Pickleball Championships 2026 are almost here – with over 460 players from Tasmania, interstate and overseas signed up to play. With 32 courts, it is going to be an action-packed three days starting Friday 6th through to Sunday 8th of February.

All the matches will be played at the Hobart Netball and Sports Centre at New Town, with half indoors and half outdoors – something a bit unusual in the pickleball world.

Events include singles, skinny singles, gender doubles and mixed doubles. We also have a hybrid event, which is all-age, mixed or gender teams, pairing a para player with a non para player, with a total skill rating under 6.0. All singles events and the hybrid matches will be played on Friday, the gender doubles on Saturday and the mixed doubles on Sunday.

This is the perfect opportunity to come along and see why pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the world. Spectator entry is free, no ticket required. Just rock on up and enjoy quality matches played with the SPIRIT of Australian pickleball, embodying the core values of Sporting, Passion, Inclusivity, Respect, Integrity and Trailblazing.
