As the winter chill descends, nipaluna / Hobart and Tasmania will once again come alive in a blaze of red for Paint The Town Red, a visually striking celebration running alongside Dark Mofo from 1–21 June 2025.
From the city streets to the regions, local businesses, shops, and public spaces are transforming with red lighting, themed menus, bold decorations, window displays, and red-inspired experiences. This annual activation invites everyone to see southern Tasmania in a different light—literally.

This year, 15 prizes are up for grabs, including accommodation at DoubleTree by Hilton Hobart and The Rox Hobart, as well as experiences like a Tasmanian Wild Seafood Adventure, a Kuuma Nature Sauna sunrise session, guided tours, vouchers, and more.
