The Tasmanian harpist creating dreamlike soundscapes
Join Emily Sanzaro for an evocative journey through original music shaped by her harp, voice and Loop Station. Her songs draw on personal stories and the shifting moods of Tasmanian mountains, forests and cloudscapes. Emily brings a fresh and expressive approach to harp and voice, weaving layers of sound through her loopstation to create rich songs and atmospheric soundscapes. Her work is closely connected to her own experiences, which she shares in her signature relaxed and welcoming performance style.
Salamanca@6 is an event series added to the Festival of Voices 2026 program, celebrating emerging and early-career singers and ensembles who are helping shape the future of Tasmanian music. At 6 pm on selected evenings during the festival, audiences are invited to the Peacock Theatre to discover fresh voices, original ideas and the next wave of local talent. It's a welcoming space where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and artists have the chance to share new work with an audience.
