Harmonies, humour and ukulele-fuelled mayhem.

Ever wondered why there are no baby pigeons? Or what it's like to be a lesbian bank robber? Tuck Shop Ladies explore these and a few other pertinent issues in life with nothing but a couple of ukuleles, three chords, and the truth.

Formed in 2019, the dynamic folk duo comprises Australian music darlings Sam Lohs (Fruit) and Rosie Burgess (Rosie Burgess Trio). Armed with sharp wit, infectious humour, and the ever-present ukulele, they turn everyday moments into comedic gold. Their performances mix quirky, heartfelt tunes with a splash of social commentary—equal parts crowd-pleasing fun and insightful laughs.

Their music, born from life on the road and the often ridiculous but always harmonious moments shared in the back of a tour van, has won the hearts of audiences across the country. As they explore the absurdities of daily life and the personal relationships of touring musicians, they invite you into their wonderful world, leaving you wanting to run away on tour with the band.

With clever lyrics, strong harmonies, and undeniable chemistry, Tuck Shop Ladies have earned glowing reviews for their ability to engage and entertain. Miss Chatelaine from Joy FM raves "I love comedy-music duos, and Tuck Shop Ladies are my new favourites!".
