Waiting Room – Katatsumori is a three-nights-only art and cocktail pop-up during Dark Mofo 2025 in Hobart. Inspired by the 1994 Japanese film Katatsumori, this multi-sensory exhibition explores the idea of "home away from home" through a dark, dreamlike lens.

Local artworks, by local artists. Bespoke cocktails, championing local produce, crafted and paired carefully to reflect the mood, texture, and emotion of its matching piece. One artwork. One cocktail. One story.

Part bar, part installation, Waiting Room is a space where comfort flickers in the shadows and nostalgia has a bitter twist.

Free entry. Walk-in only.
