The much‑loved What Writers Read series is back for 2026! This month, science writer and communicator Zoe Kean sits down with local author Jane Rawson to dive into the classic fantasy novel Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb.

Hosted at Five Leaves Left – Nipaluna/Hobart’s cosy bottle‑and‑bookshop – this monthly event invites a local writer to shine a light on an underrated or overlooked book they think deserves more love.
