Hello Hobart sat down with co-owners, Pina and Dino, to hear more about their business journey, and how they are celebrating 20 years of Fellini (I’ll give you a hint – with sale!).

One of Fellini’s unique offerings is garments made from Tasmanian merino wool, spun in Italy—a nod to the store’s local roots and its connection to international luxury. we’d gone from discussing his time in London working alongside Toni & Guy to his childhood in Puglia, where Sunday meant “la passeggiata.” This cultural tradition involves strolling through the streets after church, often in the main piazza or along the promenade, to see and be seen. It’s a social activity where people gather, chat, and enjoy the evening air. Dino’s passion for style is infused with this rich sense of togetherness, where fashion isn’t just about
looking good, but about connecting with others and embracing life’s simple pleasures.

“In Italian culture,” Pina, Dino’s wife and co-owner, tells us, “If someone enters your home,

What we took away from my time at Fellini wasn’t just a newfound appreciation for tailored suits and beautiful fabrics, but a deeper understanding of what it means to dress well. It’s not just about appearances, but about how clothes can make you feel—confident, elegant, and ready to take on whatever the day throws at you.
As Dino puts it: “When you dress well, it changes your mood. You don’t need a reason to wear your favourite boots or that perfect handbag—do it for yourself. Add a touch of romance to your day.”
