Stone Country & Heartlands is a joint exhibition by father and son artists Warren Brooke and Cameron Brooke, presented at the Long Gallery, Salamanca Arts Centre.

Spanning two generations, the exhibition brings together expressive and intuitive approaches to landscape painting shaped by a lifelong relationship with land. Cameron Brooke’s works emerge from instinct and immersion — paintings formed through movement, gesture, and surrender to the energy of place. Warren Brooke’s paintings are grounded in a deep understanding of light and lived experience, offering a quieter, reflective response to country shaped over decades.

Together, Stone Country & Heartlands invites visitors of all ages to slow down and reconnect — with landscape, memory, and the feeling of being held within the natural world. These are paintings made not just to be seen, but to be felt: immersive, generous works that reward slow, thoughtful encounters.

The Exhibition is open from 09:30 to 17:00 daily 20 February until 1 March 2026.
