Little Borneo are bringing the flavours of Borneo and Sarawak to Hobart through handmade roti, rich curries and authentic East Malaysian dishes.
Founded by a Sarawakian couple and close friends, Little Borneo was created to share the comforting food we grew up eating, food that is still relatively unknown in Australia compared to more familiar Malaysian cuisine.
Their handmade Roti Canai has become a local favourite, freshly stretched and cooked to order every day. We also serve signature Sarawak dishes, including Sarawak Laksa, Kolok Mee and Sarawak Curry Rice.
Beyond the food, they wanted to create a warm, relaxed space inspired by Borneo hospitality, somewhere people can slow down, share food and experience something a little different in Hobart.
