Out of the Closet Comedy is returning to Moonah Arts Centre in 2025, bringing you a vibrant celebration of Queer comedy in Lutruwita/Tasmania!
Earlier this year, Out of the Closet Comedy debuted with a hilarious and profound live show, featuring an incredible lineup of local comedians who are transgender.
For Pride, we’re doing it again! Hosted by Leelyn Double Chin and featuring a lineup of incredible comedians who are lesbian, gay, bi and pan, including Scott Lleonart, Bobby Park, Jay Sykes, Corey Jake, Hera the Fox, Sandie La Gore and Samwise Hemmings.
There is power in seeing yourself represented onstage and there is also power in sharing stories and experiences with a new audience. These comedians hope to break down boundaries of otherness with jokes and laughter.
