Talks and meet the Experts:
Dr Jemina Stuart-Smith (Marine Ecologist, IMAS) leads the recovery program for the critically endangered Red Handfish and will share insights into this rare species and conservation efforts.
Dr Karen Gowlett-Holmes is a Marine Biologist, diver, and award-winning photographer. An internationally recognised expert on marine invertebrates, Karen will share her expertise on the giant kelp recovery project on the Tasman Peninsula.
A.Prof Scott Ling (Marine Ecologist, IMAS) studies the relationship between rock lobsters and sea urchins. He'll reveal how lobsters help control urchin populations and protect Tasmania's kelp forests.
