Waiting Room – Katatsumori is a three-night-only art-and-cocktail fever dream unfolding during Dark Mofo 2025.

Loosely inspired by the surreal 1994 Japanese film Katatsumori, this multi-sensory pop-up rips the wallpaper off the idea of “home away from home”—rebuilding it through raw graffiti, strange nostalgia, and the alchemy of booze.

Five artworks. Five matching cocktails. All woven together as the vinyl turns and the shadow flickers.

Expect big, unapologetic visuals from Vibrance Projects' local artists. Expect drinks that hum, sting, and glow—crafted from Tasmanian produce and tuned to the texture, mood, and emotional static of each piece.

Part bar. Part installation. All guts.

In collaboration with Campari and Espolon.

When: 20th, 21st, 22nd June // 5pm - Late
Where: Somewhere Coffee Bar - 5/118 Elizabeth Street, Nipaluna
Free entry. Walk-in only.
