A Hobart institution for over five decades, Music Without Frontiers is the latest addition to the In The Hanging Garden cultural precinct. The much-loved store continues the cultural legacy upheld by the late Stefan Markovitch, stocking a vast array of new, used and collectible vinyl and CDs.
Aside from some amazing bargains, they will have a heap of Stefanâs prized second-hand collectibles out of storage and into the store for the first time.

The iconic record store on Elizabeth Street sells both new and second-hand vinyl, turntables and is home to Tassieâs largest range of music tees.

The Aeroplane crew have been slinging records since 1982 at the Salamanca Market.
They have a wide selection of genres including jazz, rock, electronic, soul, punk, and country. Youâll also find releases by Tasmanian local artists.

Dedicated to celebrating music by women, this little shop in Battery Point stock new and pre-loved records made exclusively by women.
The crew will be spinning all RSD exclusive releases plus a stack of preloved goodies theyâll be releasing on the day. Theyâre giving away free tote bags before 10 am, as well as hosting live music sets! From 2 pm youâll hear acoustic sets from Ruby Morris and then EWAH & the Vision of Paradise!
