The recipe was inherited from the previous owners when the current owners took over in 1999. It is still made the same and remains Island Espresso’s most popular soup.

Made a sweet potato base, flavoured with Smokey spices and finished off with a creamy nuttiness.

A bowl of soup is served with sourdough toast and a mug is served with a cheese toastie.
