The Very Short Film Festival is a film festival showcasing bold short films from emerging filmmakers, with all films under five minutes.

Held at the State Cinema in Hobart, the Premiere Weekend presents a curated program of Australian short films alongside filmmaker Q and As, industry talks and special sessions. The program spans a range of genres and storytelling styles, offering something for a wide range of audiences.

Visitors can experience a vibrant and welcoming festival atmosphere while discovering fresh voices and powerful stories on the big screen.
