The summer vibes are HOT here in Hobart, and we're on the hunt for a new sunny brunch spot! 🍓☀️✨

The Hello Hobart team checked out the bright and buzzing cafe @farzi_hobart, tucked down the end of Castray Esplanade.

Serving up brunch favourites like avocado toast, taro hotcakes and chili omelettes during the day, Farzi transitions into a cafe/restaurant of an evening, with a focus on Indian cuisine (with a twist!).

Open 7 days a week for brekky and lunch, and for dinner on Friday and Saturdays, @farzi_hobart is the perfect location for that end-of-year catch-up or post Christmas party recovery.

We sat down with part-owner Varun, to get the low-down on Farzi. Check out the full interview at hellohobart.com.au (link in bio! 👋).
On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me… an afternoon on Criterion Streeeeet! 🫶🎄

This week for our ✨Friday Five✨ we’re putting the spotlight on the one and only Criterion Street! A vibrant inner-city pocket of retail shops and cafés, Criterion Street has a bunch of places worth exploring.

Jump on hellohobart.com.au or follow the link in our bio to read our list of what's hot on Criterion. 👌🔥

After a long week, all we want, and all we need, is a good (vego) pub feed! It can be hard to find that greasy, meatless meal that hits the spot after a long day. But the search is over, as we’ve managed to find the top 5 vego pub grub hubs in Hobart! 🍔🌱

It’s no secret that Hobart has become a thrifting hotspot recently, with several vintage and second-hand shops scattered across the city. There’s a growing community amongst Hobart thrifters, leading to the creation of second-hand markets and the opening of new vintage stores. One store in particular has grown a mass following. 👗👔👙

So today we’re headed to one of the longest-running vintage shops in Hobart. With a rich history spanning over 25 years, and having seen many different changes in ownership and location, @hellogorgeousvintage has become an institution in Hobart as the ultimate retro fashion destination! 💃

Most recently bought by Asia Mycak, who turned her hobby into a job after packing up her life in Melbourne and leaving her decade-long career as a sleep scientist. Asia returned to her roots in Hobart and took over the locally renowned vintage store.

Hello Hobart visited Asia in her new vintage haven to get the low-down on Hello Gorgeous and even some vintage shopping tips! ✨
