Jeremy Heere is just a less-than average teenager. That is, until he discovers a tiny supercomputer that promises to fix everything.

All he has to do… is take a pill.

Enter the SQUIP: a voice in his head telling him what to say, what to do, and how to finally be cool. Sounds perfect, right?

Yeah... Not quite.

Be More Chill is a fast-paced, high-energy musical full of questionable choices, questionable advice, and songs that unquestionably slap. As Jeremy gets everything he thinks he wants, things start to spiral in ways he definitely didn’t plan for.

It’s weird, it’s funny, it’s a little bit unhinged - and somewhere in the middle of all that, it’s about figuring out who you are when the pressure to be someone else gets loud.

Brought to life by a bold team of emerging Tasmanian artists, this production leans into the heart, humour, and delightful mess of it all.
