Part exhibition, part design pop-up, LOCALE features the work of some of Tasmanian best designers and makers working across jewellery, ceramics, glass, textiles, furniture and printmaking to produce a diverse range of sculptural and functional objects for the home and to wear.

Exhibitors will be asked to consider how a particular space, place, or landscape serves as the direction and motivation for their practice.

The work on show will consist of both one-off and production pieces and will include jewellery, ceramics, textiles, glass, printmaking, furniture and timber objects, and will include a series of maker demonstrations and artist talks.

There is a collective approach to sustainable practices and the retention of traditional manufacturing in the production of works that are both skilful and innovative.

Meet the artists and learn more about the work on display each day.
